Would
you please pass on my thanks to Tony for a great day on Sunday. We
hit really lucky with the weather and it was fantastic to see the
wolf centre - such a great environment for the wolves. It was a real
privilege being able to get up close to such special animals and I
loved meeting Madadh and having my photo taken with her. It was a
long drive down from Newcastle but absolutely worth it - I had a
great time!

I
cannot find words to describe the magical feeling and emotions which
I felt on last nights' visit (19th March). We arrived rearly early
just as the large orange moon was appearing above the tree line and
suddenly we were treated to our first howling of the evening. It was
hauntingly magical and left us motionless with the hairs standing up
on the back of our necks.
We
were then met with such a warm welcome from Tony and Eva in that
cosy barn with a huge log fire. During the night walk we were lucky
to observe several badgers and the silouette of the herd of red deer
against the moonlit sky. But even more thrilling was a meet dear
sweet Maddy in the wooded enclosure. To look into her deep
intelligent eyes and feel her nose touch my cheek was indescribable.
I will never forget that moment for as long as I live. The excitment
was emotionally overwelming. We were later even honoured to meet
Kgosi from the other side of the gate and close enough to sense his
awesome power and strength. It is so clear Tony's gentle and
compasionate way with the wolves shines through in the way they trust
and respect him.
Thank
you Tony for all the work you do, your passion, dedication and
knowledge mixed with a wonderful sense of humour. WWUK is one in many millions.
I'm
still on a high from the experience and don't know when I'll come
back down to earth - if I ever do! But one thing is for sure, it
won't be long before I'm back again. Thank you Tony and Eva for the
most amazing experience and Deb for all your hard work and support.

A
BIG THANK YOU for making one of my dreams come true this weekend
20/21 November 2010. A superb place for the wolves and
Tonys dedication to their well being shines through. The
howling was amazing and I never tire of hearing it. We had a
fantastic time both with the Sunday afternoon visit & Saturday
night walk a special thank you too, Tony, for going the extra
mile literally! Rounded off with mugs of tea, yummy mince pies
and great stories, altogether a wonderful experience - well be back.

"...I
cannot express how amazing our visit was on Sunday, 26 October 2008.
It took my breath away just seeing the wolves behaving in their
habitat and seeing what you have done to save them, I cannot thank
you enough. To stand there and have Nouska take food from right next
to us and then to watch her pacing around behind us was really beyond
anything I have ever experienced before.
To
hear them howl made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and
admittedly made me quite emotional and then finally to meet Maddy and
get to touch and stroke her well by that point I was on cloud 9!!!! I
just really wished we had got to meet Kgosi in the same way, I
understand why we didnt, but to be knocked to the ground by
such a magnificent wolf would have been an honour.
Well
be back, and again thank you so much for everything you are doing... "

"...I
wanted to say thanks for a fantastic experience, my wife and I
visited the sanctuary for a night visit on Saturday 17th March and we
thought it was amazing. The Wolves are even more magnificent than we
imagined they would be, and we were really disappointed that we had
to leave early on Sunday, therefore missing the afternoon visit. We
will definitely visit the sanctuary again; it was a pleasure to meet
Tony, who made everyone very welcome and even let us play with his
lovely dog, Doodle!... "

"...I
would like to say that yesterdays visit to Wolf Watch UK was
brilliant. Being able to observe the wolves in an almost natural
environment and actually interact and spend time with them was a
magical experience that I will treasure forever. The visit was
further enhanced by Tony's warm welcome and willingness to share his
knowledge and amusing stories with us. He certainly is a great host.
The wolves looked very content, and in superb condition and it was
clear this is the priority for Tony..... "
"...As
far as Wolf Watch was concerned, I found this very interesting. Tony
is obviously very passionate about what he does, and had some great
stories to tell. I really enjoyed being that close to a Wolf and
being in an area with them that is as close to the wild as you could
get. If you have not e-mailed Tony yet please pass on my thanks for a
great day. As soon as I have the photographs I will share with the
team and send to Tony..... "
"...I
thought the day was great - the surroundings and his approach to the
animals made the day extremely relaxing... It was really interesting
to interact with the wolves but I really appreciated the fact that
their status as wild animals was being preserved..... "
"...Tony
was a pleasure to listen to (and I think I could have listened to
his stories all day!!). The enclosures that the wolves were kept in
were really impressive, and it was quite reassuring to hear that they
tried loads of different ways to 'enrich' their lives, and some, the
wolves just weren't interested in!! Tony's relationship with the
wolves was absolutely amazing, just watching him lifting a fully
grown wolf into the air and tickling his belly like you would your
own dog at home was, for want of a better word, 'gob smacking!!' It
was fascinating to see a creature that is so alike in many ways to
the domestic dog, and yet in others so different, and I felt nothing
but respect for them. I had a thoroughly wonderful day out and loved
every minute, thank-you so much!.... "
"...Fantastic
day - loved the facilities, loved Tony. It was a warm and friendly
atmosphere, and I learnt a lot about wolves..... "
"...As
you can see - I think the team had a pretty good day - they were
fair buzzing about it on Wednesday. So thanks so much. It was just
what I wanted for them - a great day out - which they deserved, we've
been working pretty hard over the last year - and as they will not
let me forget - we didn't get a Christmas team do. It was also
brilliant as everyone appeared to learn a lot - and of course
its kind of relevant to our job. (Well better than
paintballing!). So many thanks. I would like to arrange a further 2
visits for members of Dennis's team - if you could put up with us
again. They will be a different type of group - but I am sure will
also gain from a team visit to WWUK. I'll be in contact to try and
arrange some convenient dates. Thanks again for delivering a
fantastic day for the team - and for myself. I also had a great time
- could visit everyday and still enjoy the experience. with best
regards, Louise.... "
