Nouska (now sadly passed away), a black Canadian timber wolf and an ex-alpha female. Former beta female of the late 'lower valley pack' she retained a strong presence at all times even when people were around, which was remarkable for a mature unsocialised wolf. Keen to be close to any action, Nouska was often seen with Luna who was the alpha female until her death.
