The Wolf Centre is covered in deep snow, time for the humans to stock up on food and prepare for isolation, but the wolves relish the conditions and seem to have plenty of fun. The former 'lower valley pack' can be seen enjoying a typical winter frolic in the snow. Luna the then alpha female is the first wolf you will see, Saskia – Luna’s sister – is just behind followed by Nouska the darker wolf.
You will see them scenting in the snow for treats that may lurk below, whilst Nouska manages to steal one of the others food cache. Then the excitement of jumping their stream and charging about their enclosure is punctuated by howling back to the other resident wolves, elsewhere on site.
